I'm a wannabe monk / neuroscientist, practicing software engineer, and real clown. I also did a stint as a part-time research assistant in a university psychology lab, investigating emotion regulation.
Mostly I'm curious about how we find ourselves in the condition we do, and what -- if anything -- can be done about it.
No doubt that's a very common question. I hope to attack it from the perspectives of contemplative science, neuroscience, and whatever else I get my grimy paws on.
